Are You Really Serious with Getting a French Visa?

France welcomes people to visit their place and at times needs other nationals to avail or apply for a France Visa before they can come, but sometimes there's no need for it. This condition depends on:

From which country you belong

If you hold a residence permit in France or maybe from a different country that is under the Agreement of Schengen

How long you intend to stay

Where specifically in France do you want to stay for the time being

There are countries that are considered to be part of its European territory and these are as follows: Czech Republic, Finland, Denmark, Germany, Austria, Iceland, Lithuania, Estonia, Luxembourg, Malta, Greece and more.

Below are the countries that France won't require the citizens to apply for a France Visa:

1.Countries that are members of the Schengen: Austria, Argentina, Andorra, Brunei, Brazil, Chile, Canada, Croatia, Costa Rica, Guatemala, El Salvador, Hondura, Holy See, Japan, Israel, Malaysia, Monaco, Mexico, New Zealand, Panama, Nicaragua, Paraguay, San Marino, South Korea, United States, Uruguay…more and those that are members of the European Union as well as European Economic Area

2.Those holders of passports issued by the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and the Special Administrative Region of Macao of the People's Republic of China;

3.Those people who hold residence permit or travel documents from the countries that are mentioned above as member of the Schengen Agreement and those who hold a France residence permit.

However, those that are not required to have a France Visa still needs some requirements and these are as such:

Declaration of the number of days of stay and must understand that they are only allowed to stay for a duration of 90 days

Valid reasons for visiting France are: sight-seeing, to visit family members and friends, intention to look around for possible study, among others.

In case you don't plan to stay there for only 90 days, as there's no extension allowed, you need to secure for a France Visa

Thus, if you plan to stay for more than 90 days, then you'll surely need to apply for a French Visa specially if you aren't a member or is not part of those countries listed above. Here are your requirements then:

1.Bring you passport. The passport must not be expiring for your full travel, particularly within 3 months or more.

2.Recently taken passport size photos. Two copies of it. The recent photo has to be taken within the same month you are submitting your requirements for the visa application.
