3. Sellers will first tell you with the published price of the good. Do not agree with the figures immediately even if they seem extremely affordable. The initial price that is provided is generally ten times the real value of the good.
4. A vendor may swear or blabber if you suggest a lower rate. Don't let that affect you. Take note that displaying "emotional fits" is the hawker's strategy of bargaining, as they want profit also.
5. After you agree on an agreeable number that you think is good to both, adhere to it. If the seller refuses to honour the price, walk away. Most probably, he will have second thoughts, fearing that you will get the same item from his competing establishment, and he will agree to your rate.
6. Do not get ripped off by making sure of the currency being agreed on. Ask if they are in English pounds or Egyptian pounds.
7. Visit other establishments. Chances are, you will come across similar goods at better rates.
