While In Spain, Enjoy An Unforgettable Ferrari Experience

In the past you needed status and dinero, but not anymore. Now anyone with a driving permit can drive a Ferrari or any number of other luxury sports cars at some of the best racing circuits in Spain. Montmeló near Barcelona as well as el Jarama in Madrid are two of the most popular circuits because of their rich histories in motor racing and convenient locations. But there are many other choices out there as well that are well worth looking into, as you will see in this article!

The Circuit of Cataluña Montmeló

Without doubt, the most legendary circuit in all of Spain is Montmeló. The Spanish Grand Prix has been held there since 1991 and in recent times the circuit has also been used as the winter testing ground for Formula 1 teams.

A variety of unique challenges confront the drivers including a mix of slow and fast corners, slopes and climbs, and difficult breaking sections.

To enjoy the full experience of driving at a grand prix level circuit and to follow the footsteps of some of Formula One's greatest names, then Montmeló is undoubtedly the ideal choice.

Circuit of Jarama

Close to Madrid, the circuit at Jarama also has a long and impressive racing history. Between 1967 and 1981 it has hosted the Spanish Grand Prix eleven times with the likes of Nicki Lauda and James Hunt all winning Formula 1 races here. Jarama is among the most demanding Spanish circuits thanks to its tricky corners and varied elevations.

In Spanish motor sport, the names 'Rampa Pegaso' and 'Bajada Bugati' are legendary and you can experience them for yourself at Jarama. The circuit calls for a lot of nerve, decisiveness, and (needless to say!) skill.

Cheste, Valencia

This track is named in honor of a local Valencia racing superstar, motorcyclist Ricardo Tormo. Reknowed for being a fast and exciting circuit, Cheste also has mild winter temperatures making it a favored winter testing ground for Formula One teams.

Cheste offers a well balanced mixture of fast and slow curves as well as a long straight of 876 meters. It's also renowned for being one of the few anticlockwise circuits in Spain. We guarantee an intense, difficult drive!

The Navarra Circuit

Established in 2010, the Navarra circuit is the youngest race track in Spain. Super League Formula is one of the prestigious events that it already hosts and more are sure to be added to the calender in the near future. The on-site facilities are outstanding as would be expected in a modern, recently constructed venue.

There are corners, five of them left and eight of them right and an 800 meter straight which is perfect for generating some genuine, velocity and acceleration!

The circuit of Kotarr.

In 2008, the Kotarr circuit opened, and for the first time revealed its unique track design, which can take on numerous different layouts, in order to cater for different types of races and vehicles. Kotarr's other claim to fame has to do with it being the only racing track in Spain where you are able to race even when it is raining heavily or freezing.

The track in its longest version provides a fine combination of fifteen fast and slow corners and a layout that produces entertaining and aggressive driving. There are also quite a few challenging chicanes and long straights which are ideal for putting your foot to the gas.

Circuit of Jerez

The ciruit of Jerez played host to the Spanish Grand Prix between 1986 and 1990 and as a result, is yet another track with a proud heritage. It first opened in 1985 and since then has acquired a reputation as one of the top and fastest circuits in the country.

With challenging corners such as the famous Sito Pons or Alex Crivillé, you'll need plenty of nerve to negotiate this wide and fast paced circuit. The track at Jerez is also reasonably level and contains no blind corners, making it well liked with racers!

So the next time you are on vacation in sunny Spain and are searching for something new and exciting to do at the weekend, why not enjoy a couple of laps in the car of your dreams? Spanish driving gifts can be purchased through a number of online channels, with Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Porsches, and even genuine F1 vehicles on offer.

So why wait any longer? Select which car you want to drive and the venue that you want to drive at, and we will be waiting for you at the pit stop!
