So what are the key sights for visitors to explore? Lanzarote boasts of some of the best beaches with stretches of sand for the tourist. Unlike the other Canary Islands the vast majority of beaches here are made up of golden, rather than black sand. This is actually unusual as the island is more volcanic that other areas.
